A vote for Europe?

We’ve established the fact that there’s voter apathy among young people. We just don’t care; we’re happy to let the world just spin around us without taking any active part. But is this really true? Do we really not have any interest in Europe’s biggest event?

I’m not talking about the European Elections, I’m talking about the Eurovision which is on this Saturday. Ireland’s hopes rest with Sinead Mulvey and her song Etcetera, if she makes it out of tonight’s semi-final that is. So, maybe we’re not that bothered about the voting in the EU elections, but will we even be paying attention to this most seminal of European events?
